²⁵ And their brethren, which were in their towns, came at ^[a]seven days from time to time with them.

²⁶ For these four chief porters were in perpetual office, and were of the Levites, and had charge of the ^[b]chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God.

²⁷ And they lay round about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened every morning.
